Initial Consultations


Initial consultations are scheduled prior to beginning individual or group treatment, and are appropriate when families have already obtained a formal assessment and report with recommendations. Consultations can last from

1-3 hours depending on case complexity. Consultation

services may include: review of prior reports, parent interview, communication with other professionals/teachers, and meeting with child/client. Recommendations for treatment or for further diagnostic assessment are provided verbally.

Diagnostic Assessments


Diagnostic assessments are appropriate for those who have never received a formal evaluation and can vary from one to several hours of service. Assessments might include: parent/client interview, observations, formal and informal assessment measures, test adminstartion, scoring

/interpretation, client or parent feedback, preparation of formal written report, and subsequent meetings to share findings or to develop a treatment plan. Assessments are charged by the hour, with a general estimate of cost (range of hours) provided after initial intake.

Individual or Group Therapy Services


Individual or group therapy services are conducted on a regularly scheduled weekly basis (same day and time), and include 45 minutes of direct contact and 15 minutes indirect contact (preparation of therapy session and documentation of progress).
